First Up is thrilled to invite you to our annual conference, The Joy of Teaching: Creating Meaningful Play Experiences, on April 29th, 2023. Our 2023 conference was designed with the intention of providing a space where we can come together to celebrate the joy of teaching. We know that the past few years have been especially difficult for educators, but as we build our classrooms, we want to remember why we love teaching. Together we will explore what brings the spark of excitement when a young learner gains a new skill or the fulfillment felt when we see the bright, excited faces of students as they take on new challenges.
The Joy of Teaching: Creating Meaningful Play Experiences will bring together the local and national experts you’ve come to expect from First Up, while also providing opportunities for us to grow and learn as a community with the goal of increasing our effectiveness as educators and leaders. This year we hope to expand your classroom toolkits with an array of play experiences, professional development, and FUN.
