EmpowerCon is a monthly series of events where people with disabilities, their families, and other supporters can learn and share everyday skills and resources to live more independent lives. But more than that, it’s a place to be who you are and to have fun. Join us for the entire series or pick and choose sessions that interest you.
EmpowerCon on March 11, 2022 is a free, virtual event about Emergency Preparedness, as planning ahead for unexpected events is an important part of Independent Living.
Experts from the Metro Nashville Office of Emergency Management, NashSevereWx, and The American Red Cross will lead us through discussions about how government agencies prepare for disasters, how we can be more weather aware, and how each of us can be better prepared for emergency.
Please note: We are using Eventee to run the event -- so logging into Eventee is fabulous -- you must also register directly with us in order to participate in EmpowerCon. You can do that via our website here: https://empowertennessee.org/empowercon/
