FOUR BUILDING BLOCK SESSIONS Incredible Me: As you embark on the Skyline journey, we will explore who you are, and what makes up your personality. The session will review how much you have changed in your life and how that has impacted the way you see the world and yourself. By having a better sense of self, you can see how to take advantage of the paths in front of you and achieve your goals.
Dylan Bennett - Dylan is an experienced educator, with a passion for empowering talent by focusing on how behaviour can impact decision making. He is currently a Senior Education Advisor at RMIT Activator, the university's entrepreneurship hub.
Annie Harper - Annie is an educator, deep thinker and problem solver with a deep understanding of how to use communication to tell stories based on her thirty years of corporate experience. She is the Lead Program Manager for the Skyline Foundation, and lecturer at RMIT in marketing and retail strategy.
Mindset Matters: When we look at anyone who succeeds within any field, the research is showing that it's not about what you know, but how you show up - your mindset. In this session we will explore what type of mindset you have, how you deal with those negative voices in your head, and how you can reframe your response to deal with stressful situations. You will hear inspiring stories from Skyline alumni and understand how to use your mindset to overcome any challenge you're presented with.
Leah Davidson - Leah is a passionate coach with some usable, practical strategies for helping people take control over how they think. She is the author of "The 10 Year Plan Program" and is currently the Alumni Development Manager at the Skyline Foundation.
Natalie Klenner - Natalie's vision is to see a future of young people who are accessing their fullest potential and creating careers they love. She is currently Program Manager at Foundation for Young Australians and Lead Facilitator at Flourish Girl.
Better Together: Your success in the Skyline program will not only depend on what you do, but how you support each other. The session will review the support services available internally at Skyline and externally. Through interactive activities we explore the importance of collaboration and how you can support one another in your journey.
Hrefna Björg Gylfadóttir - Hrefna wants to contribute to a regenerative future by focusing on social impact and has experience leading large groups in process design and facilitation. She recently completed the Kaospilot three-year business and leadership program and is a Designer & Enterprising Leader based in Sydney.
David Parncutt - David believes in the importance of equality of opportunity and the power of education to break cycles of disadvantage. He has demonstrated his commitment to these values in a number of roles in the not-for-profit and political sectors. He is currently Skyline's Engagement & Program Manager.
Confident Communication: In this fun filled, action packed on-line workshop, you will explore how to effectively communicate thoughts, ideas, and feelings in order to be better equipped for success for the future. Through discussion, role play and video clips, you will learn that effective communication is much more than being able to talk; it is also the ability to listen and understand others, to read and interpret body language and to know the best ways to communicate effectively with empathy.
Laura Lattuada - Laura has been working as a professional actor and teacher over the last thirty years. She has a Masters in Drama in Education and has also worked as a drama Lecturer, theatre director and co-writer. Laura has also worked as an MC throughout Melbourne and Italy and as a professional performer in London and Italy after being a successful recipient of Australian Council Individual Development funding.
