GREATER THINGS
The phrase comes from Jesus Himself in John 14:12 – “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these,…”
“Greater Things” is a promise of abundance in ministry, mission, prayer, glory, and faith. It points forward to something more than we’ve experienced in the past. We’ve been told to break camp and advance to even greater things in the Spirit.
It is a conversation starter, as in, “What things are you talking about?” Think of the possibilities: Greater Commitment, Greater Faith, Greater Love, Greater Service, Greater Devotion, Greater Giving, Greater Engagement, etc.
God’s glory is that we aren’t just fruitful, but that we bear “much fruit” (John 15:5, 8). His plan for us is always “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Eph. 3:20). Greater Things points to the “more” that God has for us to experience.
We pray you will experience and share the Greater Things Jesus has in store for you, for your family, for your church and community.
